François PLUMEJEAU decides to put an end to his promising career in Finance to pursue his passion for wine.

He starts studying Viticulture and Enology at the Ecole Supérieure d'Agriculture (ESA) with every intention of becoming a winemaker.
After graduating, he took a job as a harvest intern at De Bortoli Wines (Australia), where he worked long hours doing everything from lab work to racking and blending. Back in France he worked as an Assistant Winemaker at Château La Louvière (Pessac Léognan) and then as a Winemaker at Château Doisy Daëne (Barsac).

In 2010 he decides it's time to start making his own wines and returns to his native Anjou (Loire Valley) where he buys the Domaine de la Gonorderie with his wife and partner Sheilla in 2011.

François creates high quality wines that are elegant and silky, a true expression of the Loire Valley.
